Get a scholarship rate for the conference - sign up to give a lightening talk. We have 20 scholarship slots left at $50 (regular rate is $150). Lightening talks are 5-7 minute talks on a technical computing area, an ethical or social issue related to computing, or on a teamwork experience from a computing project. CAPWIC 2012 is one of a series of Regional Grace Hopper Celebrations of Women in Computing. It's aim is to bring together women in computing from all stages of their careers. We invite High School students, College students (including graduate students) and professionals to attend. The conference will feature keynote speakers who are leaders in their fields, representing industry, academia and government. Come to share and to learn about being a woman in computing.
